The Client:

Our client is an insurance and reinsurance company who have been established in the UK for over 100 years. The business have offices in the UK and Asia and have over 15,000 employees globally.

The Role:

This role will be based in the commercial property and motor liability teams and will be responsible over overseeing the handling and settlement of claims. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Handling, processing and overseeing claims, including risks underwritten by the company and claims by third-party service providers
• Arranging investigations and following up investigators, loss adjusters and professional reports
• Prearing and sending large claim advices for information to reinsurers
• Assisting with the resolution of complaints
• Production of reports on claim issues
• Assist in claims review
• Ad-hoc support to Claims Manager.

Candidate Specification:

• Previous experience within Liability Claims handling, within commercial property and motor liability (essential requirement).
• Technical insurance knowledge
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills.

Additional Information:

• Salary is circa £25K and role comes with additional benefits
• Hours are 9am - 5pm and the business offer a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office with 2 from home
• Central Ipswich location.
• Benefits include private medical insurance, 20 days holiday (rising to 26 after 2 years) and pension.
