Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time only, Part-Time
Working Hours: 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Library Team at our Filton campus!
You will need to be able to assist in the development and effective operation of the library information desk within the LibraryPlus space and deal with a wide range of library duties including issuing books and resources, dealing with enquiries, reservations, information retrieval and shelving. You will also need to assist in the maintenance and ordering of new materials and resources, making sure they are actively promoted with staff and students using various marketing tools.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational running of the Library and play a proactive role in supporting learners, helping them to achieve their potential. You will help colleagues to support learners through digital and study skills programmes and play a key role in communicating effectively with all staff, including managers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Experience of working in a library or Learning Resource Centre (or would be interested in pursuing a career in the field of library and information management)
- Very comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Customer focused with good written and verbal communication skills
