Library Assistant - Coalisland

We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing part-time Library assistant for our Client based in Coalisland . This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING 26/2/24

Hours of work:

Week 1

Monday 1-5

Tuesday 10-5

Thursday 2.30-6

Week 2

Monday 1-5

Tuesday 10 – 1.30

Thursday 10-2

Saturday 10-4

Rate of pay is £11.49 per hour. Saturday pay rate £17.24 per hour

Duties include:

* Handling client queries using print & electronic resources

* Registering clients

* Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations

* Provide all library services to meet the learning , information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.

Essential Criteria:

* Must have 5 GCSE's including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent

* 1 years experience providing face to face service with the public.

* Experience working with young children and elderly people

* Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information
