Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance, rehearsal and event.
Following an internal promotion, we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Technician to join our Lighting Control and Visualisation team, working closely with colleagues to ensure operational and production requirements of rehearsals and performances are carried out to the highest possible standard of safety, efficiency and quality.
This role will suit a candidate who is motivated by the opportunity to work for an industry leader in lighting production for large repertory and producing venues with some of the world`s leading creative teams and award-winning lighting designers. You will ideally have:
An excellent understanding of the current ETC Eos family Lighting Consoles (v3.0 or higher). Current experience and proven track record is essential.The ability to use the lighting console to help create and revive lighting designs for Royal Opera House productions to the highest artistic and technical standards in house, at outside venues and on tour.An understanding of Lightwright and MLA.Basic understanding of Visualisation Software such as Capture and Vectorworks.Basic understanding of Lighting networking.
