Our client, a renowned international City law firm, is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their prestigious aviation litigation team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value commercial disputes within the aviation sector.

Role Overview:
- Manage day-to-day case progress including acting as the key contact point for clients, counsel, and experts.
- Draft witness statements, court/arbitration documents, and inter-party correspondence.
- Conduct legal and procedural research and draft advice.
- Attend meetings and hearings.
- Engage in marketing activities such as preparing legal articles, developing internal and external networks, and attending business development events.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Litigation Solicitor, ideally with 2+ PQE with proven litigation/arbitration experience.
- Experience advising on EU laws and regulations is preferred.
- Aviation sector experience or interest is beneficial but not essential.
- Immediate availability, or a notice period of 2-4 weeks.
- Ambitious self-starter with resilience and the ability to handle pressure.
- Excellent academic and professional qualifications.
- Active interest in business development and networking activities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and peers.
