Litigation Solicitor 5+ Pqe

An exciting opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 firm in South London.

Title: Litigation Solicitor 5+ PQE
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus
Contract: Full time permanent
Location: South London with hybrid working

Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Solicitor:

• Handle a full and varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, property disputes, landlord and tenant, debt recovery, employment, contentious probate etc
• Provide high quality legal advice and representation to clients, both individuals and businesses
• Conduct negotiations, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution methods where appropriate
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and paralegals as required
• Develop and maintain client relationships and business development activities

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Litigation Solicitor:

• Qualified as a Solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE within general litigation
• Strong advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
• Client-focused, proactive, and results-oriented approach
• Experience of using case management systems and Microsoft Office
