Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Local Engagement Leadon a Permanent basis our Ealing Gateway Office, with some hybrid working.
As theLocal Engagement Lead, you will be based in the community around Northwest London and parts of the surrounding counties, Reading and Oxford
A bit about the role:
As a Local Engagement Lead, you will help us to deliver an excellent customer service by engaging with, and involving, our residents of all tenures and ensure their voices contribute to what we do.
You will play a key role in supporting our local resident groups and subject specific focus groups to ensure there is meaningful Local Engagement.
One of our core priorities across all parts of our business is putting residents at the heart decision making and service improvement.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Working closely with the business and with external stakeholders to manage any activity required to fulfil our ambitions for meaningful engagement and ensure we meet/exceed the regulatory standards.
- Advising the business on the requirements of the Landlord and Tenant Act (1985) to recognise and support residents who wish to form a Resident Association.
- Setting up Resident Associations, informal local groups, supporting AGM’s and providing training in partnership with colleagues across the business to help these groups influence local service delivery.
- Chairing and meeting facilitation of estate/block meetings, in partnership various parts of the business both in person and online.
- Prepare quarterly reports on the work and outcomes of Local Engagement to feedback to the Board demonstrating the impact and uptake of Local Engagement activities.
This role will require a Standard DBS check, a UK driver’s licence, and access to a vehicle.
