Local Support Services Team Member

We require Local Support Services Team Member to cover an existing workload within Counter Terrorism Policing, based in Empress State Building.

This is an interim position for an initial 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.

• The candidate is required to be onsite.
• Work hours can be discussed, but the Hiring Manager is open to considering condensed hours over a 3-day week.
• Monday and Tuesday are non-negotiable workdays. The third day can be discussed and agreed upon.
• Interviews will be conducted face-to-face.

Job Summary

To be part of a team providing a broad range of business Support Services to staff based at the Counter Terrorism Operations Centre.

Key Tasks

• Place orders for goods & services as required, via the Police Standard Operating Platform system.
• Staffing the Building Management Team storeroom, and issuing items required by staff.
• Assisting the Messengers with the movement of internal despatch & post, and assisting with deliveries to CTOC. 

Essentials Experience

Experience of working in a customer focused environment. Also, good communication skills.

Desirables

Knowledge of general software packages, such as, Word, Excel & Outlook.
