Salary: £27,000- £30,500 (DOE)

Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm

We're looking for a passionate leader to join our team, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of people with additional support needs. This role requires enthusiasm, reliability, adaptability, and a person-centered approach. The ideal candidate will provide skilled leadership, ensuring staff meets the diverse needs of individuals with visual and learning disabilities in our Housing Support/Care at Home Service. You should champion person-centered care, independence, and a "can do" attitude, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. The services look after individuals with different needs. Everyone has their own complex needs which include but are not limited to hearing and visual impairment and learning disabilities. Individuals are all supported in relation to their own complex needs.

Our client is looking for a strong leader, who can become a key part of the service and help to enrich the services users lives.

the client would prefer the right candidate to hold an SVQ 4 in Health and Social care. If the candidate has an SVQ 3 the client will happily fund the qualification.

Requirements:

  • At least an SVQ 3 in health and social care
  • Experience as a supervisor in a care setting
  • Be able to gain registration with the SSSC
  • Clean UK drivers’ licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 years’ experience in complex care (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
- Knowledge of medication administration and experience in managing complex care needs
- Familiarity with dementia care, assisted living, and nursing home environments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and staff members
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and make sound decisions under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
