The ideal candidate will provide skilled leadership, ensuring staff meets the diverse needs of individuals with visual and learning disabilities in our Housing Support/Care at Home Service. The services look after individuals with different needs. Everyone has their own complex needs which include but are not limited to hearing and visual impairment and learning disabilities. Individuals are all supported in relation to their own complex needs.
Our client is looking for a strong leader, who can become a key part of the service and help to enrich the services users lives.
the client would prefer the right candidate to hold an SVQ 4 in Health and Social care. If the candidate has an SVQ 3 the client will happily fund the qualification.
Requirements:
- At least an SVQ 3 in health and social care
- Experience as a supervisor in a care setting
- Be able to gain registration with the SSSC
- Clean UK drivers’ licence
- Right to work in the UK
- 2 years’ experience in complex care (preferred)
