£300 per day/ £40 per hour umbrella
5 days per week
Hybrid Working, 40% attendance ideally
A highly reputable Central Government Body in the South West is seeking a Locum Commercial/Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 6 month period with the strong view for extension.
Ideally our client is seeking a candidate with strong experience in public law, contract law, procurement, grants and funding. Main duties and responsibilities may include both contentious and non-contentious work.
Non-contentious work may include: working in procurement law, for example framework agreements and contracts; advising on contractual interpretation; data protection; Freedom of Information requests; preparing and advising on grants and funding agreements; Collaboration Agreements; Memorandum of Understandings;
Contentious work may include: advising on contractual litigation and contractual disputes; Construction disputes; advising and managing a range of valued claims including Small Claims and Multi-Track high value disputes.
