Camden is a dynamic central London borough and this post offers an opportunity to develop / fast track your job skills in a stimulating environment.
As a qualified solicitor or barrister with a good knowledge of law you will be asked to work as part of a well-established and supportive team to provide a legal service for contracts and procurement.
Ideally you should have sound knowledge/ experience in one of the areas and the work ethos/ flexibility/can do attitude to be able to learn the basics of the other area reasonably quickly.
This would include:-
- A good knowledge of public procurement rules and ability to advise on procurement strategies and issues;
- Checking Tollgates
- Demonstrable contract drafting, report clearing skills and contract awards;
- Ability to give advice on contractual/commercial issues
- A knowledge of TUPE and Data Protection legislation
- Contract drafting
- Contract interpretation advice
- Checking Tollgates
