Job description
This post is to support capacity within Victoria Pharmaceuticals in 2024 as both sites continue to develop their services and build resilience within their pharmaceutical quality systems. The post is temporary but will me made permanent if funding becomes available. The post is currently funded for 6 months approximately to 30 September 2024. The estimated split is approximately 3 days Plenum and 2 days KBN but may be subject to change as agreed by both the Production Manager and Pharmacist Team Manager. Reporting to the Production Manager in VP Plenum and Pharmacist Team Manager in VPKBN the post holder may be required to work in any of the following areas of production (i)Ground Floor Plenum as locum for operational lead (ii)VP at Knockbracken as locum for operational lead (iii)Pharmaceutical Quality System on either site (iv)Wholesaler dealers authorization (v)Sterile manufacturing and cell therapy The post holder will be expected to participate in the extended hours of Plenum and VPKBN including weekend working, key holder, opening and closing rotas and on call for alarms and fridge alarms in Plenum and KBN on a fair and equitable basis. This will require access to transport and be available on site within the designated time. The post holder, following training, will be the manual handling adviser across Plenum and VPKBN, Medicines Procurement and Homecare.

Have at least two years hospital pharmacy experience as a qualified pharmacy technician at band 5 or above. Hold an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) certificate or have a formal record of training in good manufacturing practice , Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applicationsAbility to use initiative, problem solve and troubleshoot
