Lead Pharmacy Technician Patient Services Band 6

The post holder will lead the Pharmacy Technician and pharmacy Distribution teams and manage the dispensary in conjunction with the Pharmacy Patient Services Manager. The post holder will manage the technical aspects of service provision through leading, directing and coordinating Pharmacy Technicians. To train and assess technical competency of Pharmacy Technicians working within the area. The post holder will provide day-to-day management for a group of staff including coordinating training, attendance management, managing performance, undertaking staff development reviews, participating in recruitment and selection, staff supervision and allocation of duties. .

Experience in the area of pharmacy relevant to this post.

Experience of leading a team.
