Job Description: The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Administrator to oversee the logistical operations of their car hire business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating vehicle movements, ensuring timely delivery and collection, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery and collection of rental vehicles to and from various locations.
- Schedule pickups and drop-offs in collaboration with drivers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including availability and condition.
- Resolve logistical issues or delays efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to optimize scheduling and routing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in logistics, administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Flexibility to work up to 42 hours per week.
- Must be available for one week of training at the Putney office before transitioning to remote work.
