The Best Connection are looking for a Logistics Administrator for our client in Wakefield.
Hours are Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630 with a 30 minute unpaid break, with a salary of £25,000 per annum plus additional company benefits when permanent (after minimum 12 weeks).
Reporting to the Logistics Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial supporting role in ensuring the efficient and effective transportation of our modular building structures, temporary units, and welfare services. You will support the execution of the logistics plan, ensuring the correct driver and equipment is used to meet customer requirements, while maintaining cost effectiveness and compliance in line with KPIs, SLAs and legislation.
Additional responsibilities include;
- Responsible for ensuring the vehicle maintenance plan is adhered to in line with O Licence requirements
- Ensuring compliance paperwork is retained to meet O Licence requirements and performance reports, including infringements, are communicated with drivers and remedial actions taken to avoid future reoccurrences.
- Building strong relationships with third-party hauliers for seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery
- Report issues as they arise, offering support in providing a solution to minimise customer impact
- Demonstrating adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and legislative transport requirements
- Supporting the Logistics operation to maximise delivery options and minimise costs
- Complete Service Centre administration tasks, as required
