Day to Day Duties
As a Logistics Administrator your role will involve:
- Organising and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Developing shipment plans as per product availability and requests from customers.
- Liaising with suppliers and arranging delivery dates.
- Communicating with Commercial Assistants to ensure orders are ready on time
- Daily analysis of accessories and components purchasing needs for manufacturing and sales
- Managing purchase orders from suppliers
- Monitoring compliance by the supplier delivery dates.
- Receipts of purchases
- Assist with the planning of deliveries in the warehouse.
- Launch and completion of work orders for production
- Planning of the daily dispatch of orders to customers and preparation of shipping documentation.
Essential Skills
As a Logistics Administrator it is essential that you:
- Knowledge of current UK imports/exports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (ERP)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to organise and update inventory records.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi task and work well under pressure.
- A good attitude for teamwork
Desirable Experience
It would be desirable if as a Logistics Administrator that you:
- Were available to start as soon as possible
- Spanish as an additional/native language would be beneficial
