Shipping and Logistics Administrator

Location: Camberley – office based

Salary   £30,000

Based in Camberley, is seeking a skilled Shipping and Logistics Administrator to join their fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Order Management: Receive and process orders from our Demand/Planning team. You’ll be the conductor of our logistical symphony.
• Supplier Coordination: Lodge orders with suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and timely fulfilment.
• Track and Trace: Keep a watchful eye on shipments, ensuring rapid product arrival. Think of it as tracking shooting stars across the supply chain sky.
• Demand Planning Updates: Regularly update the Demand Planning team on order progress. Your reports will be their guiding constellations.
• Document Auditing: Check paperwork, licenses, and certificates meticulously to ensure safe UK clearance at ports. You’re the customs constellation.
• Liaison with Shipping Partners: Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and haulage companies. Your diplomatic skills will be stellar.
• Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams for goods arriving into warehousing. You’re the bridge between planets.
• Receipt and IT System Entry: Handle the receipt and delivery of goods into our IT system. Accuracy is your launch code.
• Rework Orders: Act on rework orders from the Demand Planning Team. Collaborate with 3PL logistics to ensure timely order arrivals.
• Communication Hub: Distribute external commercial and pricing communications internally. You’re the cosmic radio tower.
• Teamwork Constellation: Be a role model for best-in-class teamwork. Your influence will positively impact our internal culture and performance.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Shipping Expertise: At least 1 year of shipping experience, including a solid understanding of documentation required for customs clearance.
• Attention to Detail: Your methodical approach ensures nothing slips through the interstellar cracks.
• Organizational Skills: Plan, prioritize, and execute like a well-aligned planetary system.
• Clear Communication: Whether written or verbal, your messages are as crisp as a moonlit night.
• IT Proficiency: Navigate our systems like a seasoned astronaut.
• Logistical Relationships: Existing connections in the logistics universe are a bonus.
• Education: A-level or higher qualifications provide the launchpad for success.
