Form of workA great opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our client in their fast-paced commodities trading team in Redhill, Surrey. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year.
The ideal candidate will have worked as an administrator within logistics, export, supply chain or similar and be able to cope with large work loads and tight deadlines! You will work closely with the logistics team to arrange freight globally, liaise with customers/suppliers, prepare documents, negotiate rates, and support traders. This busy role requires someone proactive who can juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Arranging global freight shipments
- Daily communication with international customers/suppliers
- Preparing and verifying shipping documents
- Negotiating competitive freight rates
- Providing admin support to commodities traders
Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Previous logistics or export experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment
- Written and spoken French would be helpful
This is an office-based administrative role located in Redhill, Surrey with working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
