We are recruiting on behalf of one of our 3rd party logistics clients based in the Port of Tilbury area for a Logistics Administrator.

Hours of work are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.

Brief job description

Dealing with drivers

Checking drivers in and out.

WMS admin duties

VBS - empty container bookings

Releasing picks to warehouse (allocation / printing etc.)

Deallocations

Investigating orders regarding shortages

Dispatching orders along with printing relevant documents.

Preparation of packs for drivers

Booking collections

Monitoring Orders on Order management screen

Issuing ARC's for bonded orders (where required)

Monitoring reloads.

checking in & out

Issuing relevant documents

Tracker update

Booking deliveries

Updating Transwide

Printing live inbound documents for the warehouse team

Printing Inbound Front Sheets along with importing ARCs for the next day

Returns - printing return notes.

Scanning inbound documents to Share Point and GTS inbounds to GTS portal.

Filling away inbound documents

EMCS (Descartes) - training will be provided.

Closing inbound ARC's on EMC

Candidates must have admin experience in the logistics industry
