Logistics and Warehouse Manager:
Concept Resources are proud to be working with a Retail Solutions business based in Loughborough) who are looking for an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience as Logistics and Warehouse Manager ideally in manufacturing, and have good organisation and people management skills.
Job brief:
Your role as a Logistics and Warehouse Manager is to organise the storage and distribution of goods. You'll ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
Responsibilities
- use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
- understanding the whole supply chain
- liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
- allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
- continually try to improve and develop business performance
- staff training
- working to KPI's.
- work on new supply strategies
Requirements and skills
- Previous experience in a similar role - preferably from a manufacturing background
