Role Definition:
Reporting to the Logistics Section Manager, the primary function of this role is to provide Administrative and Operational Support to all areas of the team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy and safe working practices.
Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork
Support core functions of the Logistics team e.g. but not limited to CI, SWES, Scrap, Master Schedules, Value stream boards & CPS
Coordinate CQMS & AEO activities.
Collate Metrics, analysis and general administration of Velocity & Master Scorecard.
Lead improvement projects as assigned
Creation & maintenance of systems & databases to support team activities e.g. audit dashboard
Undertake training/further learning as required
Required Qualifications:
Work well within a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of co-operation with different departments.
The role requires you to be confident, self-motivated and diligent.
Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio.
Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all Levels of Caterpillar.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, escalate to the Logistics Management or other functional areas where appropriate.
Be self motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as operating effectively within a team. Have some knowledge of training and traffic safety processes.
Desired Qualifications:
Possess a good knowledge of Logistics systems and processes

Salary: £26,750 rising to £28,000 once fully competent
