Day to Day Duties:
As a Logistics Coordinator, your duties will include:
• Organising and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
• Developing shipment plans as per product availability and requests from customers.
• Liaising with suppliers and arranging delivery dates.
• Communicating with Commercial Assistants to ensure orders are ready on time
• Daily analysis of accessories and components purchasing needs for manufacturing and sales
• Managing purchase orders from suppliers
• Monitoring compliance by the supplier delivery dates.
• Receipts of purchases
• Assist with the planning of deliveries in the warehouse.
• Launch and completion of work orders for production
• Planning of the daily dispatch of orders to customers and preparation of shipping documentation
Essential Skills:
It is essential as a Logistics Coordinator that you:
Knowledge of current UK imports/exports
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (ERP)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to organise and update inventory records.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
· A good attitude for teamwork
Desirable Experience:
It would be desirable if as a Logistics Coordinator you:
held a BSc/BA in Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant field
