About the role

Working Monday to Friday on 8 hour shift rotation pattern 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm, the Transport and Warehouse Coordinator will be based at Liverpool (Simonswood) to provide support and co-ordination to the Warehouse & Transport operations to ensure the delivery of a high quality and cost-efficient service to customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Checking & Processing Receipt and Dispatch documentation
  • Monitoring and escalating issues with the ORTEC system
  • Entering Information onto the CHESS booking diary
  • Recording additional chargeable Warehouse activity on spreadsheet for invoicing
  • Supporting Team Leaders with the control of Loading bays
  • Briefing and debriefing drivers.
  • Tracking adherence to collection and delivery plans for both core fleet and sub- Contractors.
  • Escalating both potential and actual issues with collection and delivery plans
  • Communicating with delivery and collection points to minimise the impact of any plan changes to service levels
  • POD Scanning
  • Providing administrative support to the Warehouse and Transport Teams

About you

Applicants should possess substantive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS), coupled with a demonstrable understanding of Transport & Warehouse Process Links.
