As the Logistics Director, you'll lead and optimise logistics operations across Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland. Your responsibilities will include overseeing primary, secondary, inbound, and export transportation, as well as warehousing activities for our brands and third-party products. Your main goals? Ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and first class customer satisfaction. As well as driving forward business change within a high performing team.

About the role

This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing logistics, ensuring employee and customer well-being while adhering to safety regulations. It involves producing a logistics strategy aligned with company goals for the GB and Ireland markets, managing transportation, optimizing warehouse operations, and implementing inventory control measures.

Leadership is vital as you will build and lead high-performing logistics teams while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement. Establishing and maintaining strong relations with suppliers and carriers, analysing performance, and promoting environmentally sustainable logistics practices are key responsibilities.

Additionally, cross functional working is key along with collaboration across departments to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences.

You will be a proven logistics leader with a track record of success in leading logistics teams in beverage distribution. Your comprehensive grasp of supply chain intricacies in the UK and Ireland, paired with hands-on logistics management experience, sets you apart. You're not just a leader; you're a team builder, steering diverse groups toward high performance.

Communication is your forte. Your knack for influencing internally and externally, coupled with your numerical prowess and strong budgeting skills, ensures effective cost management. Moreover, your commitment to health and safety regulations speaks volumes about your dedication to fostering a secure work environment.
