Are you looking for a new opportunity to work for the UKs Market Leader in Structural Steel?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Trainee Loader at our site based in Dalton near Thirsk
We are looking for candidates who will be willing to undertake an extensive training programme over a 3-to-6-month period dependent on your progression where you will work closely with industry experts to start your new career in logistics.
As a Trainee Loader your role will be to use a remote overhead crane to move materials off a production line and build the material into packs. Built in a way so they are safe and stable to be transported around our site by a side loader and then onto a trailer for delivery to site. They need to be built so they are in the confines of a trailer’s limitations. No two loads are the same so you will always need to be thinking on your feet!
No experience necessary as training will be provided, but we are looking for candidates that have strong numeracy and communication skills as well as attention to detail and who are comfortable with using an iPad.
This role is to start on the day shift at our Dalton site based in Thirsk working 7am-5:30pm Monday - Thursday 7am-1pm Friday.
