Service Manager Job Introduction

Adult Social Care is seeking to recruit a full term (37 hours) confident, innovative and creative Service Manager within our Long Terms Condititons service. You will have substantial experience within health and social care and will have held a leadership role in this field. You will be able to demonstrate the necessary leadership skills to empower and support our staff to deliver excellent professional practice to ouur residents.
You will need to demonstrate a high level of competency and skill in supporting and supervising staff, embedding change and driving continual improvement. Additionally, you will have substantial experience in managing team and resource budgets, an ability to confidently manage competing service priorities and the necessary organisational ability to deploy resources to manage identified risks.
With strong communication skills you will be able to connect, engage and negotiate effectively at all levels with the confidence to make clear informed decisions. You will be experienced in managing and overseeing flow and supporting service areas to prioritise competing demands. You will have the ability to work flexibly and effectively within a defined area and experience in partnership working with Statutory, Private and Voluntary Sector Organisations.
This role allows the opportunity to participate in strategic service development, innovations and projects.
