R&M Williams is large building contractor based in South Wales.

Job Description:Class 2 Lorry Driver on our 3 DAF Lorries.

Must have experience : HIAB both for 8 Wheeler GRAB Lorry & 32 Tonne Flatbed with crane.

Option of Full time or Part time

Full time applicants must be multiskilled as you will not always be driving 5 days a week. This job not just driving. Previous drivers have been fitters or helped in the yard etc during down time. Willingness to get stuck in and having a positive attitude to work here is vital to succeeding at R&M Williams.

When driving you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various sites or locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who are looking for a stable and rewarding career.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including flatbeds, to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safe transportation of goods
- Plan routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency
- Communicate with team members to coordinate deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive various types of trucks, including flatbeds
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform loading/unloading tasks as required
