We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our amazing team within DWP's expert Digital community.

Deployment. Work. Projects.

Working in our third line team, you'll be responsible for solving the more complex technical problems and incidents. The job involves working closely within your Infrastructure team, users, Identity, architects, product managers, and wider stakeholders in order to identify work arounds and root causes of incidents.

You'll be expected to resolve the complex incident and problems. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills, and empathy towards users with a solid understanding of how systems work. These are the technologies we are currently working with. We recognise that not all candidates will have the experience across all these areas upskilling will be provided.

You will be working in the following areas:

• Microsoft 365
• Teams
• SharePoint and OneDrive
• Filestore in Azure
• Exchange Online and hybrid deployment

Over 100,000 colleagues and agents use the tools, apps and updates we roll out. Your work makes it easier for them to do their job and enables them to better support people into work and access the payments they need. What you'll do in this role is key to modernising the way DWP and government works.

What skills, knowledge and experience are essential for this role? We'll assess these when we look at your application

• The ability to troubleshoot and identify problems across different technology capabilities

Additionally, knowledge and experience in the following:

• Microsoft 365 Cloud Services
• Microsoft Exchange (on premise & cloud)
• Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive
• Microsoft Teams.
