LHH are working with a boutique corporate finance team, who are looking for an M&A Assistant Manager to join their growing Corporate Finance Deals team based in central London.
This role has come through organic growth and in your role as their new M&A Assistant Manager will be to work with high growth clients across a range of sectors, from mergers, acquisitions, MBO's and cash outs for private investors.
Your key responsibilities within this M&A role will include :
- Taking the lead on their M&A transactions, working with the clients
- Be responsible for team tasks and stakeholder updates
- Assist with preparing new proposals, developing financial models and completing reports
- Develop business relationships both internally and externally
- Review workloads and manage the members in the team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with the business development of new clients and cross selling other areas of the business
Your key skills required for this Corporate Finance role will include
- Be a qualified accountant (ICAEW / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven background in either M&A transactions, Corporate Finance or financial modelling analysis
- Strong excel and analytic skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A clear communicator at all levels, ideally with proven business partnering skills
- A person with a commercial mindset, confident in building relationships and task orientated
