AddressAccept Recruitment is currently looking for Machine Operator for our new Client, a leading supplier of fruits based in Evesham, WR11 area.
Job Purpose: To ensure efficient daily packing of produce on nominated line.
Duties:
- Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Effective running of all production lines, including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader, and the Robots.
- Ensuring smooth operation of multiple lines.
- Conducting morning and end-of-shift checks for the production line, ensuring all equipment and machinery are in proper working order.
- Performing regular glass inspections to identify and remove any potential contaminants from the production line.
- Collecting packaging materials and return unused materials at the end of each job run.
- Setting up packaging materials and supplies on the production line.
- Completing tool changeovers, coordinating with the maintenance team.
- Collaborating closely with the maintenance team to address any issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Participating in achieving Line Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring lines are cleaned regularly and closed properly at the end of each shift.
- Undertaking any other duty commensurate with the role.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in maths and English.
- Proven packhouse production experience.
- Experience in management of workplace health and safety.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize own and others’ workload.
- Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team.
Working hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 – finish
- 40h guaranteed per week
Pay:
- £11.70ph
- £12.20ph after training (up to 2 weeks)
This is permanent role.
