Job&talent is recruiting for a Machine Operator in Porstmouth for a leading provider of electronic manufacturing solutions, specializing in precision assembly and quality control.
Position Overview:
Pick and Place Machine Operator needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining pick-and-place machines, ensuring the accurate and efficient placement of electronic components during the assembly process.
Location: Victory Trading Estate, Kiln Rd, Portsmouth PO3 5LP
Pay rate:

• 13.00/hour - Apply Now!

Shift Patterns:

• FULL TIME - 40h/week
• Mon-Fri (5 days a week) 07:30 - 15:45 with early finish on Fridays

As a Pick and place Machine Operator you will need to have:

• Previous experience using a Pick and Place machine
• Knowledge of PCBs is a must
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams
• Dexterity and attention to detail
• Good understanding of electrical components.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pick and Place Machine Operator in the electronics manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with operating and programming pick and place machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished products
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of safety regulations and adherence to workplace guidelines

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Set up, program, and operate pick and place machines to meet production goals and quality standards
• Load components onto feeders and monitor machine performance to ensure proper placement of electronic parts
• Perform routine maintenance on pick and place equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
