We looking to recruit Factory/Machine Shop/Warehouse Operatives on a Permanent basis. This is suitable for candidates looking for a career opportunity within an established, family owned business.

We are a successful and expanding privately owned company based in Ossett, West Yorkshire. We design, develop and manufacture our own bespoke equipment for the retail sector, and have a large, blue-chip, customer base throughout the UK & Ireland. The roles:

We have 4 vacancies across our Factory, Machine Shop and Warehouse departments. Roles vary from assisting in the operation of machinery, supporting our warehouse and general labouring in the factory. Our staff are multi-skilled, able to work across departments and while you will be in a specific department, on a daily basis we move staff to address peaks in manufacturing and production.

Operating the forklift truck (if qualified).

Work on a variety of tasks across the factory and warehouse.

Recording tasks on our SAP system (training provided).

Immediate start.

Comply with Health & Safety regulations as stated in the Health & Safety handbook.

Experience & attributes required:

Ability to work on own initiative with or without supervision and cope under pressure.

Able to work on a variety of jobs including assisting on machines, warehousing, labouring and other tasks.

Fork lift training preferred but not essential.

Able to progress and develop within the role to meet workload demands.

Experience of using warehouse management systems to record and track work tasks.

The candidate will be employed on a 39 hour week, 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am – 3.15pm Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is available to meet production demands, and this is paid at time and a half.
