Machine Setter

Owen Payne Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Oldbury who are a leading Steel Manufacturer.

This is a great opportunity to join a well established and thriving company who are recruiting due to continued growth.

This position is a 12-week temporary to permanent role.

Main Duties:

• Setting roll feed machines
• Loading, setting and feeding coils
• Changing and setting cut off equipment
• Changing and Setting Press tools
• Read, understand and interpret basic engineering drawings
• Use measuring equipment: Tape Measures, Verniers, Micrometres, Feeler Gauges

Shifts (Permanent shifts, no rotation):

• Mornings - 06:00 to 14:00 (Mon to Fri)
• Afternoons - 14:00 to 22:00 (Mon to Fri)
• Nights - 22:00 to 06:00 (Mon to Fri)

Rate of pay (Dependent on Experience):

• Mornings - GBP11.56 to GBP12.98 per hour + OT Rates
• Afternoons - GBP13.23 to GBP14.76 per hour + OT Rates
• Nights - GBP14.04 to GBP15.67 per hour + OT Rates
