Macmillan Horizon Centre - Services Support Coordinator
Fixed Term (12 months - to cover family leave)
34.5 hours per week
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000
Based at the Macmillan Horizon Centre in Brighton.
About the role
The Macmillan Horizon Centre opened in Brighton in November 2016 and provides support to people affected by cancer from across Sussex. As the Service Support Coordinator you will play a key role in coordinating and managing the administration and business support volunteers to ensure the smooth running of support services at this state-of-the-art Cancer Support Centre.
You will be joining the Horizon Centre at an exciting time as we move forward to the next phase of the development of the Centre. You will play an important role in ensuring administration support is in place to make sure of the smooth delivery of support services and the day to day running of cancer support services delivered by the Horizon Centre.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience of managing an administration support function to ensure the smooth running of a service.
- Demonstrable administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Stakeholder management experience - able to build and maintain relationships collaboratively and problem solve.
- Experience in a customer service background
- Comfortable with training and supporting a group of people.
