Contract: 24.5 hours (0.7 FTE) per week x 52 weeks per annum
Primary Location: Southgate, but may be required to work at any of the College’s sites or partner institutions.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and highly experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning in the Science Department. Our students are diverse in their experiences, learning, backgrounds and needs and so require an understanding, adaptive teacher to support them through their educational journeys. Successful candidates will join our inspirational, compassionate and supportive team at our Southgate Campus.
We are looking for a physics specialist to deliver programmes from L1 to L5, including BTEC, GCSE, T level and HTQ. Experience of working with young people with EHCPs, mental health issues or NEET backgrounds useful.
For all positions, successful candidates will be expected to teach on a range of programmes across different levels. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are essential for all roles. You will hold a hold a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) and must possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.
