Maintenance and Facilities Technician

We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Facilities Technician to ensure that our manufacturing facility in Chesterfield operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a keen interest in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.

Description
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions, working closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
Ensure the facility meets health and safety standards, conducting regular inspections and implementing necessary changes.
Manage inventory of supplies and spare parts for equipment.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or installations.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and efficiency.
Document all Maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference.
Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by following company procedures and guidelines.Profile
A successful Maintenance and Facilities Technician should have:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of equipment Maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills to coordinate with different departments and external contractors.
