Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the terms of all contracts are being met, reviewing performance & providing reports, measuring against agreed SLAs and KPIs
- The preparation of contract documentation and specifications, including monitoring contractual obligations and assessing any potential consequential claims
- Management and control of Repairs and Maintenance and Void programmes and budgets - including on-site monitoring
- To assist in the preparation of budgets, monitoring costs and the preparation of reports and statistical information, estimates and tender prices
- To be responsible for the inspection and of work in progress and post inspection of work undertaken by contractors ensuring quality, satisfaction and compliance is maintained
- To ensure the provision and maintenance of accurate records - including manual and computerised systems
- To provide technical advice on building refurbishment and maintenance contracts
- To participate in the Asset Management meetings and make positive recommendations for the continuous improvement of the section
The Successful Applicant
- Good experience in the delivery of a customer driven service and in ensuring continuous improvement
- Significant experience in arranging and supervising works to domestic and commercial properties
- Good experience of supervising a team and/or contractors to ensure service delivery, managing change and developing people
- Able to prioritise to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent and/or professionally qualified in a related discipline and/or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience. Must hold or be willing to work towards qualifications and have ability to commission and sign off works on a technically competent basis.
