Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Policy Compliance:- Adhere to Company Health and Safety, Maintenance, TQM, and Fleet Management policies.
- Ensure team compliance with established policies and systems.
Order Management:- Issue timely order numbers via Fleet Management system, following procedures.
Technical Support and Adjudication:- Collaborate with Fleet Engineers in the adjudication process.
- Assist in determining appropriate rectification measures.
Invoice Resolution:- Resolve queries using Fleet Management system and specialised support.
- Communicate with providers for timely invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate accruals with the accounts department.
Management Information Reporting:- Generate monthly reports on actual spend by contract, asset, and causal factors.
- Measure spend against budgeted allocations.
KPI Management:- Efficiently manage the Motor Control Center (MCC) function as per agreed KPIs.
Training and Succession Planning:- Identify and provide training for MCC Administrators through the PDR process.
- Ensure contingency arrangements for task continuity.
- Implement succession planning for key personnel changes.
These responsibilities collectively ensure consistent and effective fleet operations management, policy compliance, streamlined processes, and systematic personnel development.
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate:
Supervisory/Management Experience:- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.
Administrative Proficiency:- Strong administrative skills, preferably in a fleet management environment.
Certification of Professional Competence (CPC):- Holds a CPC (Certification of Professional Competence) [Not essential].
MS Office Familiarity:- Proficient in using MS Office applications.
Fleet Management System Knowledge:- Experience in using a Fleet Management system [Not essential].
Sector Expertise:- Experience in the Petroleum & Gas sector (ADR qualified desirable).
Excel Competence:- Minimum of intermediate knowledge in Excel.
Location:- Resides within a commutable distance.
