Form of workWe are searching for a time served Maintenance Electrician to join our industrial client, on a permanent basis.
The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of production/process machinery. An understanding of, and experience of working to, planned preventative maintenance schedules is required.
Candidates should have knowledge of fault diagnosis on automatic control equipment. Experience of PLC's, HV Networks, Furnace control systems, Rolling Mills, AC/DC Drives, Safety Circuits, Motors and Pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
Track, monitor and manage the progress of your own work and report accordingly on the computerized maintenance systemWork under Permit to Work System when necessaryWork on Preventative Planned MaintenanceSupport Production unitto ensure all Breakdowns are addressed in a timely mannerTroubleshoot and problem-solve engineering issues
Experience and Qualifications:
Must be time served in an Electrical Engineering Discipline, have good numeracy and literacy skills18th edition would be desirableAbility to read and work with electrical drawingsAn understanding of PLC & Drive Systems would be a distinct advantagePreference given to factory industrial background
