Maintenance Electrician
Our partner has decades of experience as a trusted engineering solutions provider and due to growth, they have created a new position for a Maintenance Electrician. You would be joining a highly skilled team of engineers who are passionate and motivated, contributing to a creative and innovative workforce.
Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Electrician will skillfully manage waste, uphold safety standards and drive continuous improvement while conducting routine maintenance and upgrading electrical systems, showcasing a dynamic commitment to excellence.
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician will include:
- Safely dispose of departmental waste, maintain a clean workstation, and enforce Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Manage and update Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Identify and communicate training needs for personal development.
- Complete mandatory training and undertake additional duties directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Engage in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on 415v and 240v systems, as well as install and upgrade electrical components.
- Document maintenance activities, ensure safety compliance, respond to emergency situations, and actively participate in continuous learning and improvement, showcasing strong communication skills.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications as a Maintenance Electrician including Safety Compliant and 17th or 18th edition.
- Proven experience in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
