Maintenance Electrician
Location: Edmonton, North London (N9)
Starting Salary: £50,400 P/A
Hours of work: Continental Shifts (2 Days/2 Nights + 4 Days off)
Overtime rates: x1.5 and x2 for any bank holidays worked

The role: Maintenance Electrician.
Plant list: Ball Mill, Conveyors, Shredders, Separators, Compactors, Balers, Control Panels.
- Electrical maintenance of a variety of machinery, repairing breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Fault Finding using PLC's, Multi-Meters, Schematic diagrams.
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and electrical testing.
- Control Panel wiring and electrical Fitting - Replacing faulty components or wiring in: Proximity Switches, Three Phase Motors, Relays, Contactors.
Entry requirements:
- 5 Years experience as a Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Installation/Service Engineer or Control Panel Wireman.
- City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualified in Electrical Maintenance or Installation (ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship).
- Ideal industry experience: Recycling, Aggregates, Waste, Water Treatment, Abattoirs, Steel or General Manufacturing.
