Maintenance Engineer

The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Shift: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am

Location: Caerphilly

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: £44000 to £49000 Dependent on experience + overtime = earnings of £55000 and upwards achievable

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK and EU, we now require a site based Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

- Time served apprentice trained or above

- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar

- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding. Most of the faults are predominantly mechanical, however electrical skills can be utilised if you are electrically biased.
