Maintenance Engineer

A UK manufacturing company based in Corby, with over 30 years of experience in premium uPVC and aluminium windows, doors and roof systems. Specialising in glazing solutions for domestic, new-build, and commercial projects, the company operates from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with machinery, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Our client is now looking for a Maintenance Engineerto join the team.
The role
A Maintenance Engineeris now required to join the team permanently to be responsible for all maintenance at their Corby based facility. This is a five-day workweek (Mon-Fri), 40 hours/week 8.00 am - 4.30 pm with Overtime available.

You will take responsibility for:

• Carry out all maintenance tasks, fault finding and responding to machine breakdowns.
• Installation of various mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery
• Fault-finding on PLC controlled equipment
• Resolving productions issues as and when required and ensuring quality in all work carried at out
  

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Previous experience working in a production / windows and doors manufacturing or similar environment.
• Must have strong mechanical experience with some electrical experience.
• Experience of fault-finding on pneumatics
• Ideally holds relevant engineering qualifications or similar discipline.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Previous experience working within the UPVC Windows & Doors industry.
