Maintenance Engineer

Bela Recruitment is hiring a Maintenance Engineerfor a company based in Lisburn, / Northern Ireland.

Salary - Days & Evenings only - 8-hour shifts, working 36.5 hours per week = roughly £41,700 before overtime!
Potential to earn £45k with overtime and still have a fantastic work/life balance. NO WEEKEND WORK!
Early Finish Fridays every week.

The Company

Responsibilities
Ensure the reliability of plant and machine tools within the company and provide the necessary maintenance service.
Ideally Electrical & Mechanical bias, (training & support can be provided including sending someone junior to the local college to up-skill if required).
· Managing mechanical & electrical repairs and breakdowns, whilst avoiding downtime.
· Working on single, 3-phase electrical systems, inverters, drives, replays, motors, CNC, robots, workstations etc.
· Following electrical drawings to support fault finding & repair.
· Proactive planning and reactive maintenance of equipment.
· Project work to improve machine availability, identify problems and create solutions.
· Work with external service engineers and contractors as required.

Requirements
· Time Served Maintenance Engineer / Technician, able to work across Electrical, Mechanical and other systems.
· Ideally experience with diagnostics and problem-solving.
· Experience with PLCs and SCADA OR strong willingness to learn this.
· Some form of previous electrical maintenance experience.
· Ability to work well with other team members and production departments to ensure the maintenance programs are delivered with minimal impact on production.
· Ability to keep accurate logs of all works and control parts/spares.
· Must be a team player and willing to learn about new equipment or processes.

Rewards
