Job Title:Project Maintenance Engineer Department:Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager Responsible For: No direct reports Salary: Competitive, depending on experience The person will work within our 3 pillars of People, Planet and Prosperity. The Role: People Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other department heads to deliver continuous improvement goals across the business Assist the maintenance manager in overseeing and delivering CAPEX projects with the support of the maintenance team and contractors Create a high performing culture and in particular: Ensure that Gilfresh Values are applied without exception Represent Gilfresh in all colleague, customer, partner and supplier interactions Create an environment of effective and transparent communication, where colleagues are well informed, accountable, feel free to challenge and express ideas for improvement Planet Daily management of ongoing projects as assigned by Maintenance Manager and done so in the required standards in Health and Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling, CCP, SOP, Quality Standards and Specifications, Food Safety and Allergen Procedures, and Risk Assessments. Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality Assist in the process and installation of new machinery, plant and equipment from specification requirements, liaising with suppliers through to full installation Remain up to date on legislative issues and industry trends likely to impact any project work Prosperity The ability to design electrical control systems Be able to work to timelines and budgets as set out by management The Person: As a family business, it is important we share the same values and that we can find a way to work together.
