Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Mildenhall
Hours: 40 - 45 per week
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Lathe Area Department, crucial in their production. With the companies growth trajectory, this role offers opportunities for career advancement within our dynamic company.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Maintain 16 Multispindle Lathe Machines and associated equipment in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
* Diagnose and rectify faults with machinery and equipment.
* Conduct necessary machine and equipment maintenance, including mechanical part replacement.
* Utilise maintenance software for task management and updates.
* Collaborate with Service Engineers during visits.
* Ensure spare part availability for uninterrupted production.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Provide maintenance support across various business areas as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience with workshop machinery and equipment.
* Proficiency in Production Machinery, particularly Lathe Machines, with 5-10 years in a maintenance role within a production environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude for component replacement.
* Self-disciplined, motivated, and adaptable to individual and team-based work.
* Willingness to work outside regular hours and support other business areas.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across all personnel levels.
