Maintenance Engineer
Location: Desborough
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with an alternating schedule including one Saturday per month, followed by a Friday off

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
· Work alongside a team of 5 engineers to ensure the maintenance and electrical repairs of plant machinery, packaging machines, printers, conversion machines, and ancillary equipment.
· Contribute to the day-to-day and long-term engineering needs of our company.
· Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems for the site.
· Maintain ISO compliance in collaboration with the quality department.
· Minimize downtime and resolve breakdowns promptly.
· Respond promptly to on-site machinery breakdowns.
· Collaborate with engineering management and fellow engineers to efficiently resolve breakdowns.
· Lead a team of Maintenance Engineers during your shift.
· Adhere to strict health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
· Attend relevant training and courses to further your professional development.

Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry.
· Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs, with a preference for an electrical bias.
· Previous experience in repairing and fault finding.
· Understanding of automated processes (desirable).
· Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs, or time served.
· Willingness to learn, share best practices, and attend training courses as needed.
