Our client is a an established and very successful manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (mechanical & electrical) to undertake planned and reactive maintenance work and to supervise a small team of support engineers.
The Role:
Reporting to the Directors and adopting a "hands-on" approach the Maintenance Engineer will lead a small team of engineers and will ensure the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery.
You will be required to monitor performance and you will identify key improvement opportunities required to improve efficiency and increase profitability.
You will also lead Cap-ex engineering projects ensuring timely and cost effective delivery.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
Applicants with experience in machine build, assembly, installation, maintenance and repair are preferred and those with experience in the plastics manufacturing sector will have advantage.
Must have recognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications and good plc knowledge.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday Days (Flexible)
