Hours: 39 per week – rotating weekly between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (night shifts may be available with additional allowance)
This role includes working as part of a shift engineering team to perform residential maintenance work throughout the site.
Maintenance Engineer Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain facilities, services, buildings and equipment on a reactive and PPM basis.
- Maintain records to comply with site policies and HSE standards.
- Design, implement, and record PPM plans.
- Teach, coach and mentor trainees.
- Most of the work is done on a daily basis, but you must be able to work overtime, including weekends, if necessary.
- The above list of duties is not exhaustive and we may be required to perform additional duties as requested by management.
What are the requirements to be part of the team?
- Have completed engineering training or other recognized equivalent qualification.
- Diverse knowledge with an emphasis on electrical engineering and experience in industrial environments with high speed continuous processes.
- Knowledge and experience in operating PPM systems. Good PC skills – MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Experience with lean manufacturing systems and their implementation.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure vessels and dust collection systems is an advantage.
- Experience in woodworking is an added advantage. Confident, enthusiastic, approachable, ambitious, with a positive and goal-oriented attitude.
- Ability to build good working relationships.
