About The Role
Main responsibilities:
- You will be required to manage a team of operatives to ensure compliance and professional cost-effective service delivery is maintained
- Assist with the recruitment and supervision of staff
- Produce rotas for the operative team
- Lead on fault finding investigations and proposals for resolutions
- Regular review of processes and procedures to seek continuous improvement
- Implement quality control mechanisms to ensure planned and reactive works are being carried out correctly
- Install clean and tidy standards throughout the team engineering stores and plant Rooms
- Accurate and regular upkeep of specific compliance logs
About You
Desired skills & knowledge:- Previous experience of mechanical & electrical/plumbing works preferably within a facilities background with extensive supervisory experience and be capable of covering for the Facilities Manager when necessary
- Conversant with computerised maintenance management systems (shire system-pirana)
- Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- IT literate with excellent communication skills
